The Projectís Feasibility and Investment  Opportunity Studies :

The feasibility study draws a clear and detailed picture of the project's best alternatives and future prospects . This will be true when the study depends on adequate information and accurate data. This means the investor has to make a feasibility study when he intends to implement his project on objective bases and to avoid random decisions. The project feasibility study will minimize the investment risk by spelling out the projectís disadvantages in advance.

The project's feasibility study includes: the market study , the technical study , and the financial and economic study .

Some investors prefer , in the beginning , drawing general ideas on their proposed projects rather than the detailed information of the feasibility study . This requires the preparation of an investment opportunity study which may be expanded later on, after evaluation , to feasibility study.
